HUE to DMZ for 2 days 1 night via Ho Chi Minh Trail

Day 1: Hue to Khe Sanh

In the morning, we departing from Hue and ride along highway 1A to Quang Tri town. First we will visiting “ The high way of Horror ’’ where in the summer of 1972 a host of Southern soldiers lost a battle, retreated to Hue and were shoot to death here.  Along this road are the most military Cemeteries in the country. Then, we will visit Long Hung Church and Quang Tri Old Citadel which was a battlefield in 1972 between North and South Vietnam for 81 days and nights. We also stop at Hien Luong bridge and Ben Hai river (as know 17th Parallel and also the border line between the South and the North Vietnam during the American war). The place where dividing border of South and North Vietnam during the 20 years of Civil war.

Next we visit the Doc Mieu Firebase and stopping for lunch and relax at Cua Tung Queen Beach.

In the afternoon we will visit The Vinh Moc Tunnel and have short stop at cemetery to pay respects to the soldiers who fought and died on the trail during the American War.

Continuing west on highway 9, pass the Rock Pile and stop at some villages and beautiful mountain and on the highway.

Approx 5pm we arrive in Khe Sanh which was established as a forward base by General Westmoreland near Laos to secure highway 9. Check in to hotel, free time at night.

Day 2 : Khe Sanh to Aluoi town to Hue

In the morning, after breakfast we will enjoy a cup of coffee which plant in this area. Then we ride to Aluoi town via Ho Chi Minh Trail, amazing view on the road you will enjoy the real mountain life, no truck , no car, no bus and we are the Rocks ride  on the road between the mountain and the river. At noon , we have lunch in Aluoi town,  top of the mountain to enjoy some local food. Then we go down to the pass to go back Hue city, on the way you will visit and swimming the Blood waterfall (it just a local name from the America war).
